LEADERSHIP CHANGE

Posted on Sep 5 2014 - 3:46pm

Hello All,

I am announcing that, effective immediately, Scott Stiles has taken on the position as Scoutmaster.  Scott has been with the troop in the Assistant Scoutmaster capacity for the last several years and has done a fantastic job in that position.  As my job and family needs have become more pressing, I have taken this opportunity to step back into the Assistant Scoutmaster position to relieve some of my load.  I will continue to be with the troop and look forward to aiding Scott in achieving the goal of providing the best program possible for the boys of Troop 128.  So, let me be among the first to congratulate Scott on his new position.

Are you looking to complete some requirements with your Citizenship in the Community or Communications merit badge?

Posted on Aug 28 2014 - 10:55am

Are you working on your Citizenship in the Community or Communications merit badge?  Mr. Stiles will bring anyone interested in attending the Concord City Council meeting on Sept. 11th.
The meeting starts at 6:30, so we will be departing the church at 615 and returning by 8:30.
Mr. Stiles will get a copy of the agenda prior to the meeting and share with the scouts. Everyone should bring a tablet and writing utensils for note taking in order to meet the merit badge requirements. Please make sure you register so we know who is attending.

Finally Home!

It’s Sunday night after a fun but exhausting weekend of camping. But before you collapse on the couch with a book, favorite show or videogame, review this post-campout checklist. You’ll be glad to have everything put away properly and your are smelling good again. You'll be glad upon arrival at the next campout to find everything clean and ready for use. By following the 10-step post-campout checklist below, you can make the transition from Scouting on Sunday to school on Monday much easier.
